Yeah I have to agree with you. When spoilers said they come to a “new understanding” this was not what I expected. And the Caroline of seasons 2-4 never would have told Tyler to just “get over it or get out of my life”. That line really upset me. But yeah I hope this does pave the way for them to become friends again and have a real new understanding.
