I have to say that I think you’re right, I don’t think the writers are ever going to address the bad things Klaus did to her. Because then they’d have to address how messed up KC really is. And honestly I do like the SC friendship but I kind of like to pretend that that scene didn’t happen because it didn’t sit right with me. The show gives such mixed signals when it comes to KC. They really do want us to see it as some sort of bad boy itch which is BS tbh. And I also think that you’re right in that it hasn’t sunk in for Caroline yet. She still thinks this is something she can fix, but she can’t. And lbr everything Damon does gets brushed under the rug, so that’s nothing new. At this point I think the show is going to make it all about Tyler because we’re supposed to just accept that Caroline has forgiven Klaus for everything he’s done but Tyler obviously hasn’t [and shouldn’t]. Sigh. I don’t know what these writers are doing. All I know is that Forwood was a beautiful relationship and they deserve their happy ending so I hope in the end they can work past this.
