anon, I feel exactly the same way! so you’re not alone! I’m conflicted about exactly the same things. I have stelena, one of my otps, having good moments and one of my fave characters ever, Tyler, coming back. But then I have to put up with my other fave character, Caroline, being OOC and being paired with the person who abused her and the people she loved. And we have Stefan once again being too noble for his own good and trying to help DE but I know he’ll still get hate from the fandom regardless of him trying to be selfless. Idk, like you said we’ll just have to wait and see! Hopefully they won’t totally disappoint us. And I’d love to see some Aunt Jenna or Anna flasbacks, I loved them :)
